Support and funds for cancer research –
The Relander Foundation sr

The Relander Foundation is founded by Harald Relander to provide grants and contributions for Finnish education and research work against cancer.

The Relander Foundation started its operations in Finland in 2016, and the first grants were decided during 2018. Grant applications are welcome on a continuous basis, and decisions on the awarded grants are made once a year.

We want to courage medical researchers and research teams to send open applications with descriptions of their research activities and a defined need for funding to The Relander Foundation. Deadline for applications: 1st of May.

The foundation’s Members of the Board are Professor Kristiina Vuori, M.D. Ph.D.;Chief Physician Timo Joensuu, M.D. Ph.D.;  Chief Physician Tuomo Alanko, M.D., Ph.D. and Pär-Gustaf Relander as the Chairman of the Board.
