Our winning project, ‘Security and resilience of the supply chain and the sustainable use of local barley,’ truly reflects our dedication to driving measurable impact and building a resilient supply chain.
In partnership with Boreal Plant Breeding, we’re developing new malting barley varieties tailored for the Nordic climate, ensuring continuous improvement in sustainability and resilience, as well as continued quality for our customers. We also invested in BoMill technology at our Panevėžys site in Lithuania, allowing precise sorting of barley grains for improved raw material quality and smarter malt production.
