Behind every exceptional beer is expertise and carefully made malt.
Last week, we welcomed our Polish craft brewery customers and partners to our malt house in Strzegom for a dedicated training session: “In the World of Malt and Hops”.
Located in Lower Silesia, Poland, our Strzegom malt house focuses on the production of speciality, roasted, and smoked malts, combining tradition, technical know-how and a strong understanding of brewers’ needs.
Together with our distributor Browamator and Yakima Chief Hops®, we created a day dedicated to knowledge-sharing across malt, hops and brewing expertise.
During the workshops, our guests explored Viking Malt products, production processes and our approach to quality control. A sensory session added a practical and engaging dimension to the experience. We concluded the day with a site tour and a visit to the local restaurant and brewery Browar Strigovia – a great example of strong collaboration between maltsters and brewers.
