We are happy to announce that Jirapha Liangsiri is nominated VP Sourcing and Procurement replacing Jacob Andersen who will leave us at the end of February. Jirapha will report directly to CEO Kasper Madsen and she will be a member of the Group Management Team.

Jirapha Liangsiri has been the MD and Site Manager for the Halmstad plant since January 2022. Prior to joining Viking Malt she worked as Senior Supply Chain Director for Region North West Europe at Novo Nordisk. Before that she has worked in several managerial supply chain positions at Carlsberg. She has Master´s degree in Manufacturing Management from Linköping University, PhD. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Dortmund in addition to being a certified brew master from VLB (Versuchs- und Lehranstalt fur Brauerei) from Berlin.

At the same time it is our pleasure to announce that Karl Stokes is promoted to the position of Director, Sourcing. In this new role he will continue to be responsible for barley sourcing for Denmark and Sweden and his role on the group level sourcing will be extended.

Before joining Viking Malt Karl relocating to Denmark Karl worked for Soufflet Malt as the Sourcing and Sales Manager for UK.  Earlier in his career he has worked as a Commercial Account Manager for Gapuma (UK) Limited as well as worked for Boortmalt engaging with both commercial and procurement teams. Karl holds a bachelor’s degree from the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, UK.

These nominations are valid 1st of March.
