New project on regenerative farming

Viking Malt and The Baltic Sea Action Group (BSAG; www.bsag.fi/en) have initiated a project to study regenerative farming in Poland, Lithuania and Finland. Regenerative farming is a set of practices that protect biodiversity and keep our soils fertile also for generations to come.

The project is put into action by Ulrika Wikström, a newly graduated Master of Agriculture and Forestry – and farmer. Ulrika has received funding from the Tor-Magnus Enari foundation for this study.

The findings of the study will help us direct training and support activities for our farmers, helping them to manage their farms in the best possible way.
